ING Türkiye has announced that its customers will now be able to perform all EFT, havale, and FAST transactions digitally, free of charge, indefinitely. This move is part of the bank's strategy to provide a seamless banking experience by integrating its global strength with cutting-edge technology.

Enhancing Customer Welfare in Digital Banking

Alper Gökgöz, General Manager of ING Türkiye, highlighted the significance of this initiative. “We combine the strength of being a global and well-established bank with technology to offer our customers an effortless and smooth experience. We are taking pioneering steps in the sector with innovative services. Our cost-free banking strategy is a reflection of this vision,” Gökgöz stated. He pointed out that individual customers in Türkiye conduct approximately 6.3 billion digital Turkish Lira transfers annually, equating to over 17 million individual transfers daily. “In a market with such intense activity, transaction fees create a cumulative impact on users. Eliminating EFT, havale, and FAST fees not only offers a banking convenience but also directly contributes to the welfare of our customers,” he added.

ING Türkiye aims to alleviate the burden of small, frequently encountered costs in daily banking by completely removing fees for these digital transfer methods. The bank emphasized that this application creates tangible value that directly reflects on users' financial routines, beyond just offering transaction ease. The high volume and frequency of digital transactions in Türkiye further amplify the impact of this strategic decision.
